Thanks Derek, I have seen several posts about connections at 48-49k from individuals. This pc week thing may not be representative. I back ordered a 56k modem from Mac zone. I am also waiting to upgrade my 28k sporster. Good luck. Look at usrx thread about Bear Stearns and Oppenheimer recommending the stocks. ciao Alfredo
