JIM & ALL (Kinda OT)

Have you folks checked out the new Microsoft Media Player(the 4.0 beta). If you want to see where computers are heading, grab a decent machine (K6-2 300 or PII 300 and up), a decent video card and a fast pipe.

You wouldn't believe the quality of the 300kbps stream from broadcast.com right now.. if you have the ability to, check out the "Broadband on Demand" service at broadcast..

Problem is, even a mid range machine (k6-2 300, Celeron 300a) both have no problems playing the streams and not dropping frames.

Regards,

Steve
