I can add two cents to this thought. Something I learned the very hard way, and try even harder not to repeat. Careful if you are investing with margined capitol. I rarely hold a margin balanced position over night. For day trading, I'll push it real hard at times, but always get that down to something I could write a check for the next day if need be(which is not much) or at least not place myself in a position where I might be forced to sell if things turn sour fast. That's the surest way I know to be forced out of a position. And then when it bottoms, you have no money to hop back in. I figure everyone here knows this, but never hurts to be mentioned again.
