I suspect we'll hear more about Stalin in the coming years. We haven't heard much because so few Soviets emigrated during that era who could speak in a knowledgable fashion about it (not to mention that so many died). As time wears on, his crimes will probably take on as great a scope as Hitler's.
OTOH, why doesn't anyone ever mention the crimes of the British against the Irish? While there was 1 singular person committing the crime (Cromwell stands out, though), the British gov't, for years, tried to systematically eradicate the Irish.
Based on the history of the 2 cultures, I suspect it was based on the long standing feud of the Celts v. the Romans, which just carried over into the modern era....sort've like the current Kosovo situation.
