Is the shareholder meeting this Wednesday, the 5th, or next Wednesday, the 12th, or in a few weeks?

I won't be there but I sure hope to read about a few angry shareholder who give Cowell, McCartney and the Board a real wakeup call.

The most discouraging aspect about this merger is that while 3Com was already in transition and didn't anticipate renewed growth till later in the year, USR's best quarters - selling x2 - were just about to start.

This merger, along with delays, has taken considerable wind out of the x2 sails (pun intended) and USRX is moving off course. So while USR may have solid revenues from AOL, Prodigy and Japan Telecom - as well as the smaller ISP upgrades, and good client modem sales, the perception is that they are losing ground which is only adding fuel to Motorola's and Rockwell's fire.

You're the leader Casey! Start acting like it! Why the sudden fawning to 3Com?
