I suspect that you broker went to one of the MMs who "only" wanted to fill part of your order at the stated machine size of 5,000, which is all he's required to do and then filled you "up" a half cent. All legal and above board.

The drop in the offer may have been another MM who was lurking at 0.335 and wasn't "selected" by your broker, and when that MM saw the trade occur away, he probably dropped his offer to ensure that he would be the lowest offer and would get elected on the next buy order.

Happens all the time. The half cent is $75.00, better in your pocket, but the MM has it now. Pizza money.

Best, Joe
