AMZN vs. AOL,

I have never bought AMZN because I always thought it was over-priced.

With yesterday's earnings we have found out that losses will

continue.I even heard that they might have to set up brick and mortar

warehouses to handle the product inventory.

My friend's daughter who is studying in Medical school, ordered a

book from AMZN.She was informed that it would take 3 weeks for the

book to arrive. She ordered the book from BKS online, and received

the book the next day. That is another reason why I won't buy AMZN,

because the same commodity can be gotten elsewhere.

AOL,as the largest ISP and online host, derives it's income from

it's retail customers and from advetisers.Any increase in new retail

customers and new advertisers, would not require brick and mortar

buildings in order to expand.

Best of all AOL shows earnings, and will continue to add to it's bottom

line. What I found most incredible is that tha company has 2.7 Billion

in cash at hand. This is for a company that didn't exist only a few

years ago.

This is why I am averaging down on the Stock, and will make another

purchase if it goes down another ten points.

IMHO,

Manny T.
