Ahhh....that dreaded question....! I'll have to expose my limited knowledge now ! :-)

I'm afraid mine are very unscientific ways...which is why i keep asking about POs ! IMO TA is applicable on traditional stocks like CSCO & MSFT but internets are often too nutty for me.

Entry points are relatively simple for me for positional trading. Just wait for the support. Or choose a price I'm willing to pay !

Selling is more difficult. For stocks breaking out, its more of a market feel. Thus I often sell too quickly, something I'm trying to improve on by following your line of thought and the PnF thread !

For stocks which are off their highs, its more predictable. I sell 1/2 off at the highs and depending on the direction, sell the other half based on the direction. TA helps quite a lot in selling the first half but selling other half is usually filled with regret !

RNWK I sold because it had reached that landmark 250 point and I believe selling off usually happens at those those psychologically pivotal points !
