Very funny how each of the first 4 replies settle on answering WHY the IMF needs gold, and ignored the rest. You guys in denial, without a paddle?

1) Has the open interest in the futures gone up or down, considering the gold's directions?
2) Is the volume of the futures significant today?
3) Has the BASE stocks moved faster then the POG?
4) How has monetary currency fluctuation affected GOLD this week?

As I suggest:
"b) as someone asked, what does a strong close here (above $285) signify?"
Nothing. Neither did the low of $280. And neither does the XAU climbing to 75.

Come on, someone answer how this POG at $286.00 is significant?
