I wasn't shot down. I acknowledged the person's obvious superior sat knowledge and then proceeded to state that I felt he did not understand the nature of my claim. Irdium birds have plenty of fuel to handle their assignment and planned average life. They don't if they are smacked around like ping pong balls (exageration for effect) during solar storms. He asked "of course the engineers took that into consideration when the designed it". I will tell you as I told him, I asked the question and the answer was not comforting. Iridium and Motorola cut a lot of corners to launch this baby with $5 billion. 66 instead of 77 birds, less radiation shielding by placing the array in the 500 mile area, mass production of sats, etc.

I am making money every point it goes down. It is not my fault. It is the fault of the designers, marketers, distrbiutors and last, but not least, the financing guys who put toghther this complicated structure of debt and equity. Stay long Dragon, I look forward to hearing your excuses a month or two from now. The beauty of SI is you can go back and call someone on their past posts. Your record is already very clear. You are wrong, have been wrong and will continue to be wrong about this stock. How much you know about, care about or love about Iridium is no reason for blind optimism. I will post another reminder when the stock is below $10.
