The increase in the ask from 13/16 to 1 1/16 without the bid changing and without any trading suggests that the MMs are short and are covering. They are trying to acquire shares and are discouraging any buying. Don't expect to get your 3/4 shares until the MMs have covered. I'm not sure how many shares that they are short, but that huge bid ask spread is a clear message that they don't want to sell any. John de C
