"The concerns were sparked by a research note from Soundview Technology analyst Michael O'Brien who said the continued price decline of dynamic random-access memory, or DRAM, chips has made him more cautious about capital equipment companies including Teradyne Inc. (TER). He removed Teradyne from his focus list. Teradyne shares recently were down 11%."

OK Michael, time for your Econ 101 quiz: Price declines in DRAM do what to volume? Volume increases...(at least that's what Gordon Moore and my economics professor would tell me). Increased volume means more tester capacity is needed at the back end of the process. Therefore you downgrade Teradyne? Good thinking Michael! Glad to see Soundview is continuing in the tradition of Rick Whittington (their once famous wrong-way semiconductor analyst who left about 2 years ago.) Hopefully Rick and Tom Kurlak are better at analyzing soap or whatever they are doing these days. In the meantime, thank you for allowing me to pick up 20 LPJAL's today at 7 1/8!
