I thought the rest of your post was pretty good, too. Personally, I am happy for Scan and A@P to work out their problems offline.
I also agree its its not too helpful for others on the thread to "pile on" when a personal struggle is being played out.
On the other hand, there have been several accusations on this board within the last few days that those of us inhabiting the thread are serfs, sheep, sycophants, blind followers, etc., etc. and that Anthony somehow encourages, expects, or enforces that kind of mindless and gullible "blind follower" behavior.
I thought you were saying the same, so I objected to it. I will vigorously continue to object to that characterization, because I think it is unfair to Anthony and all the rest of the intelligent contributors to this board, and I don't think for a minute that Anthony encourages or condones blind followers.
On the other hand, when someone announces they're making a trade he doesn't have confidence in, I've seen him reply "Good luck!..." (Just like when the dealer takes your cash for chips in Vegas...e.g. you're gambling...but its your money.)
