let's look at what the scuttle has been

Asia is cured according to the IMF (next shoe must be getting ready to drop -- China? something else in Japan?)

Fed and GS talking the markets up (see above? fed reaching the limits on its ability to pump without the market raising interest rates? GS IPO? ???)

Fed, CLinton and IMF talking down gold (concern about the trade deficit? see above?)

Somethin's up. I have no clue what it is. I simply won't close shorts or sell gold shares -- no way.
