I am only a trader in priceline. I do have a long term position in doubleclick. I bought it because I think internet advertising is about 10 times the market of traditional advertising based on the market segmentation allowed by the internet. For example I recently went to an art show in LA (Van Gogh) and looked up the trip and booked it on the net. Now, I am being served ads for all kinds of artistic enterprises, art.com is one and the SFMoma museum shop. In the past the SFMoma museum shop had no way to advertise because the target mkt is so small there was no way to identify potential customers. In fact the majority of businesses were like this and the internet opens the market wide open. Of course its just a guess that the mkt is 10 times the current, who knows? But people that buy gold are guessing too.
