I spoke to a Fidelity rep and they said that I would have to pay $36 to them in order to tender the shares in my account. Can I avoid this cost by just waiting for the deal to close? Will I get the money later than those who tender? I don't want it to seem that I'm cheap, it's the principle of the thing. Fidelity wants to charge me more to tender than it would for me to just sell the shares. They get you coming and going.

Doughboy.
