Joe your post is so right, especially the part about owning the problem

This is what kills Novell. They deny they have a problem and then stick to that denial in the face of any input and suggestions from the media, industry leaders, customers, sales etc.

If they took their VAR interview as mentioned in the Q1 report to heart, they would know that they have to respond to and not avoid questions about their strategy.

I'm still waiting for somebody at Novell to explain their small business strategy to me. Because I can tell you that on Wednesday I am going to have a Novell VAR come in here to explain to my people why a 50 user Novell system SHOULDN"T be upgraded to IntranetWare despite all of my arguments to the contrary. I expect this VAR to suggest NT. I don't need to be convinced to go with IntranetWare but my Department heads are reluctant and the Novell VAR has resisted upgrading the systems. (can you believe it, the VAR is resisting!)

So tell Scott Lemon, this is the reality out there.
