Hey Doc,
you actually get more leverage with out of the money calls and most leverage closer in time. My recommendation actually for this cheap stock (<10) would be to use Margin to make your purchase (2x leverage). you then wouldn't have time ticking against you. She has sat level for long periods of time as you can see in the chart.
