Soundview downgraded TER. What the market said today was that Dan Niles was right and that MU has won. <vbg>

Essentially the market said that due to falling memory prices they expect DRAM producers to defer purchases of equipment. Thus falling memory prices ARE good for MU in that they may well chase some marginal producers from the market. And if DRAM producers do not all jump to the next generation the semi-cap producers such as AMAT will not remain at a BTB of 1.3 for long. Therefore MU held up well, and the equipment makers were pounded.
