CheckFree is this kind of Stock.

CheckFree threatens nobodies share in established markets...because CheckFree controls their market and share, no viable competition...BUT.

If some other company from a tangent segment..ie...IBM, MicroSoft, EDS, Orcale, Yahoo!, AT&T, Bank One, Intuit, First Data etal...went after them in a coup attempt at this space...it would be a threat to each tangent segment and start a free-for-all...CheckFree has been up to now been a Switzerland in this e-comm segment.

As long as CheckFree is segment neutral, brand neutral everybody can live with it, and has...upset that balance...and that is the shot which would start a war...IMO. Knowing the result of a tangent take over attempt would be damm complicated...as this is a head game company, and always will be.

It's a complicated market segment. You need to be able to walk on air, and that's what this company is good at.
