Stocks that come down sharply on heavy volume do not recover easily. I think that it will take months to repair the damage. The current trend is sharply down and its not even close to a consolidation. So in my opinion.
1) if you dont own shares wait out the months and buy when it has consolidated.
2) if you own shares and are short term oriented - take the loss and move on. The price erosion over time will wear you out any way.
3) if you own shares and are long term oriented - grin, bear and pray for a turn around in the disk drive sector.

Thanks,
Sridhar
