Can't help you too much on the annual meeting because I had a dental appointment and wasn't able to personally attend. My strike force, ingeniously disguised as a couple of hostile shareholders, tell me that the following points were noted by them: (l) A good description of the 4 product suites available, with and without hardware and\or a customer database; (2)increasing backlog; (3) return to profitability by Q4 or Q1,99; (5)the opening of a new office in Paris; (6)The installation of about 12 customer call centers per month under the DT deal; (6) Isabelle Infante (I know it's Beatrice but I love the name) stresses and JC reinforces that speed to market is key; (7) JC has increased his personal stake in the company by about 10%; (8) Director Norman Fogelsong may or may not have even further increased his stake (my sources were not clear on that); (9) Increased R&D spending as a percentage of revenue (10)guest appearances of at least 2 members of the analytical community who JC praised for asking good questions (or is that an oxymoron?) maybe they weren't analysts but just asked good questions. Anyway, my moles were not clear on that. (11) JC made a statement to the effect that there is more to life than just news, weather, sports and the value of one's portfolio. Easy for him to say. (12) Increasing cash on hand even with buybacks; (13)major partnerships in the heavy petting stage (maybe not the best way of putting it but sex sells) and should be announced in the next 2-3 months; (13) JC thinking of moving the whole company to the east coast where people are not judged by the value of their portfolios. If that happens, I'm moving too. Just kidding about that one. I'm sure that my sloths (sleuths?) missed a lot so maybe someone could make additions to this somewhat pathetic report from my people.
