Joe Antol >> OK. Now my turn. 1) Novell is aware of the situation, and will NOT listen to any suggestions, criticism, and will NOT "own" the problem and admit it publicly, and it will and does not want any input, suggestions from this bbs, media, industry leaders, and that is a FACT. <<
This is just plain mind reading. Over the course of last 12 months, we have made a significant switch of direction by embracing open standards, launched an embrace-and-extend strategy with respect to NT server and workstation environments, and embraced Java as the strategic direction. We have also rapidly developed new services at the internet and intranet boundaries, with high potential for added value software. All you have to do is inform yourself, instead of ranting and raving, and repeating the same old complaint. Novell listens to customers, and has been trying very hard to negotiate a sharp technology curve without losing those whom we value a lot. Since when have you been placed directly in the flow of all input that comes to Novell, that allows you to make sweeping claims such as the one above? And what the hell problem is it that we are supposed to own up to, every 30 seconds?
On the one hand, you say now and then, "where are all the Novell employees?", and as soon as anyone shows up to try to have a sane discussion, you bite their heads off. Scott has been patient and diligent in his posts. All he seems to get from this board is juvenile complaints about his perceived intentions. |
