You pretty well summed up why we have a problem. The customer is the problem, not the damned system. Buddy,...the bank brokerages knew more than 6 months ago when everyone was signing up for their damned stinking service that they needed more staff and more machines to deal with the increase in traffic. They are too damned cheap to hire enough people to handle the traffic, and the damned government has kept serious competition out.

Most of us would be glad to sign off on the legal requirement to look at our trades and make sure they suit our profile. If you say you are experienced and your risk profile is aggressive there is no need to review our profile. The computer should be able to tell whether we have enough money or not. And transfer the trade to the computer trading service in seconds, or to the floor trader in the dinosaur markets.

Many of the problems are caused by poorly trained and poorly informed staff. Don't tell me they don't exist or I can call you ignorant.
The equipment currently in use is not up to the task of handling volumes at peak times.

Lots of us would pay extra for superior service on the internet or telephone without using a broker who is grossly overpaid for what they do. The internet will eventually make them all obsolete and I for one can hardly wait for that day.

The two bank brokerages I trade with have staff that agree with me. They know there are not enough people to do the job asked of them, and their equipment keeps going down forcing them to revert to older, less efficient means to get the orders through.

If we don't complain, everyone will think the system is fine, and the bankers will not spend the money required for updates, training and better equipment. Your right about one thing, none of you give a crap about us, after all it's our money isn't it. I understand that the bankers/brokers only give a damn for their bonuses and stock options and to get those they must cut, cut cut, expenses. To bad you have to deal with those damned customers.

Sorry buddy,..I think you are full of chit.
