LOL I spend most of my life fooling around without knowing what I'm doing. Most of the fine folks on this thread have forgotten more than I know ...... gggggg but I try to help a little .... Cheeky Kid says its' in the BIOS and can't be gotten out ..... I think that is slightly incorrect, because I've done it in the past, but don't remember exactally how .... could well have been that I reflashed the BIOS, or went into CMOS, or just what, I honestly don't recall .... but try hitting the escape key during the Dell commercial and see what happens .... I suspect that it will exit the ( I think its' called shadow mask or something similar) Dell logo and show you what is going on behind the scene with the Window action ..... I'll attempt to get my " little grey cells " to comb through the distant past --- been more than several years since I tried to remove one of the logos ---- and if I can remember how, I'll post to you ..... but I think the excape key will suffice, if you don't object to hitting it every time you want to get rid of the Dell sign .....
