Robert, since you're so willing to fight and die in Kosova, tell me. Which platoon have you joined in the army since yesterday?

Talk is cheap Robert, when you have been shot at and depth-charged defending America come back out spout your moral high-mindedness. It may not seem so shallow to me. It's easy to sit in your comfortable home and shout about the horrors of war, quite another to actually get involved in one. Since you're such a courageous warrior, and so anguished over the deaths of the people there, quit typing and hop on a plane to help those people. What's stopping you??

No, more likely the closest you will ever get to dying in the battlefields of Europe is by typing a bunch of words on SI. And pretending it shows real involvement, courage and moral self-righteousness.

As for your assertion that I believe myself to be a military expert. Let's just say, I believe I am a lot closer to it than you are. If history has taught us anything about war, it's to get the politicians as far away from the battlefield decisions as possible and go in with overwhelming odds, rapidly and decisively. If you think these bombs are going to end this conflict your delusional. NATA may yet win the short term victory in Kosova. But the war will go on.

This strategic mistake has ensured that terrorism will exist there for decades.
