According to Strategic Investment Newsletter a press release issued as they went to press on February 10 "detailed exciting drill results on Oroperu' Tres Cruces project in north central Peru. Preliminary tests have outlined a prospective area 3.5 kilometres long by 2.5 kilometres wide in which drilling to date has tested only a small part. Results were released from four holes drilled over an 800 meter area. All the holes were mineralized from the surface to the depth drilled. The best hole,96-4 averaged 2.80 grams of gold per metric tonne, and was open to depth. Drilling is now under way to offset three of the holes and deepen 96-4 The announced results on all the holes are rich for open pit mining, and should increase the value of OROP ! The co expects to resume operations by May at the newly acquired Neuvo Condor mine east of Lima. While the profits will not be large in the early days, they will provide cash to help finance further exploration and development without the need to go back to the markets to raise money""
