I don't know what it is, but Brocade seems to do no wrong. Even changing their CFO during their IPO will probably not affect the resulting success.
Brocade can seem to do no wrong because there is no public barometer on the company (i.e. daily stock price, quarterly filings, conference calls). The only things out there for us to judge Brocade by are glowing company press releases, internet message board posts, and recent SEC filings for the IPO. Meanwhile, your perception of Ancor doing right or wrong fluctuates with the daily stock price.
Brocade may be a fine company (I'll take some of that IPO please), but there is no reason to think they are doing no wrong. How come HDS, nStor, JNI, Inrange, Prisa, and Boeing are giving Ancor business? Those are lost sales for Brocade.
