Frank, Am I mistaken, or is the Adaptec 2906 merely a regular 15-pin SCSI-1 adapter and not an Ultra SCSI-2 adapter? adaptec.com I know that Buz has an Advansys ASC3050B Ultra-SCSI Controller incorporated into the PCI card, which may or may not satisfy Rocky's needs. It supports synchronous transfer rates of up to 20MB/sec. Here's what I think he needs, though it is pretty expensive: about $250 - but it supports transfer rates of up to 80MB/sec. adaptec.com Lipo
