Okay, enough is enough...... The reason, IMO, few respected posters post to this thread is due to all the unfounded, unsupported, & basic BS thrown around here. I read this thread & do not post as I feel like I would be dealing with whinny, spoilt children who want the cake & want to eat it also. Negative spam artists, just go away. You do all the positive posters a disservice just by being here. Try backing all your unsupported negativity with facts instead of BS.

Personally speaking, I have made a lot of money by investing in SHAL & I mean A LOT of money. The reason I have done so well is I took the time to call the company & talk with Mr. Holmes Stoner in their IR Dept & have done my homework.

Anybody who's new to this thread just ignore all the naysayers & crybabies & call the company. I am sure you will like what you hear.

I found Shal when it was in the $2-$3 dollar range & bought 5000 shares just before the Jan 29th announcement. I am now enjoying the benefits of 500 free 1yr. restricted shares of SLNN, 1000 free 1yr. restricted shares of ULAB, & the still to be announced 1000 free 1yr. restricted shares of xcelnet. All I had to do was hold those original 5000 shares for 2 days to recieve all these free shares.
I have since bought & sold SHAL so many times from that original 3 dollar price thru the high around $20 that I have since lost count. I currently have a large position going into tomorrow which is going to entitle me to a lot more ULAB shares.

Here are some facts you may want to consider:
1) Your objective with this company should not be a focus on the parent (SHAL) but instead all of the children (spin-offs & free dividend shares) as this is where the REAL value & money is.
2) SHAL is a venture capital company whose primary focus is the funding or sponsoring of smaller unknown companys whom do not have enough capital to fund themselves. SHAL is like the "general partner" of a limited partnership.
3) The more a spin-off company is accepted by the investing public, the greater that spin-off companys stock will be worth & with that growth the parent (SHAL) will also grow in value obviously.
4) The reason all the free dividend shares are restricted is to prevent mass selling of shares into the opening of each new company therefore diluting it to nothing more than a worthless shell.
5) Everyone screams for financials & this is a very important part in accessing a company for investing purposes, I agree, but this company (SHAL) I am sure is doing it's very best in a timely fashion to come into compliance & that is acceptable with me. Sometimes you just have to have some faith that not every company is a POS.

Now you do the math...... I have. A really smart person could retire just investing (short & long term) following SHAL thru it's paces as I am doing, but everyone must make their own decisions as to what is the best investing course they should follow.

I am not a SHAL paid promotor nor am I being compensated by the company in any way for what I have just written, not that I wouldn't like to get more free shares of any of the spin-offs. I just like the concept of what they are trying to do. This company, IMHO, is just getting started. Mr. Stoner said to me in one of my many conversations with him, that as of Jan, 1999 the company had about 600 investors & now 3 months later that # has increased to around 2700. This should say something about their ability to grow quickly.

Good Luck to all & do your own DD (Due Diligence) before investing in any company.

Regards, Thumper :-)

P.s. To all SHORTS...go for it...There's plenty of money for everyone here but be warned, IMHO, the price on this stock moves fast on very little volume & you well may get caught with your SHORTS down. You might be very embarrassed & exposed to a lot of people before you can COVER up. LOL
