Joe, thank for the article, it is a good one.

One should wonder if they are adding Infineon as a foundry simply to diversify or perhaps they are indeed expecting to have additional product for additional market soon. Following quotes are worth thinking about,


"We anticipate volume production at Infineon to begin in the fourth quarter of this year..."

"This added capacity and value is important as NeoMagic moves into markets beyond notebook multimedia accelerators, including digital cameras, DVD drives and recorders..."

I wonder what "product" they are manufacturing in the forth quarter. I consider this foundry agreement a potential positive development. What does every one else think or am I just talking to myself. :)
