I was wondering if anyone else noticed a parallel between SSPI and CPQ in that both companies seem to blame their financial results on "market conditions" in the face of glowing reports on the market for their businesses. I'm not suggesting that Jinks should go the way of Pfeifer, but Pfeifer did have several years of very good performance at CPQ and, in fact, did preside over their run to Number One in the PC business. Is SSPI actually "The World Leader in DSP Solutions"? What are DSP Solutions anyway?
Jinks has already said that the ADI Contract will not be a big moneymaker. I am still wondering what the potential is for the Kodak "win". Does anyone have a clue? I had the impression that Kodak was going to create tens of thousands of digital processing stations, and I wonder if that will materially affect SSPI's bottom line.
