<< The way it is now, I get a symbol followed by all the corresponding info on that symbol. I would like to format the screen to have more that one symbol per line. ie ibm 160 + 1/2 csco 65 unch etc.>>
Mike, the way you can do this in Excel is like this:
Say you use the Sample1.xls spreadsheet provided by them. If you add one worksheet of your own (Insert-->Worksheet), then you enter:
A1 .......................... B1 ........................ C1 .......................... D1 .................... =QuoteSheet!A9 ... =QuoteSheet!C9 ... =QuoteSheet!A10 ... =QuoteSheet!C10 etc, etc.
Of course, in QuoteSheet you have your favorite stocks antered the way Interquote wants them. If this is not clear or you have problems, I'll be glad to e-mail you a simple .xls with this.
I am still using the 30-days free delayed quotes. Even though I like it, it crashes all the time and it seems to be slow. I am using AOL as my ISP, but IQ recommended me changing to another one more reliable, so I'll do that soon.
I don't seem to get bid/ask quotes for NYSE stocks. I don't know if this is only on my trial period or it happens also when you are paying. Also, they have the limitation of the 200 quotes, which is a problem for me, since I follow almost 300 stocks, but most of them not on a minute by minute basis, which is the idea behind using the continously updating quotes, so I think I'll survive.
Good trading to all.
Mike.
