bearshark, I think your comments about market leadership makes perfect sense. A strong sustainable rally will not happen on the backs of CAT and IP. Especially when stocks like MRK and GE are getting killed. I believe the trading today in the NAZ, S&P and RUT will tell the story. The DOW seems to be on a mission all by itself, so it's performance may not give us the answers were looking for. Oh yes, I wanted to add yesterday that the VIX has been rising the past two days but is now running into resistance. Good luck trading. SO
