ALL should pay $135 per month for Level 2 if you are a serious player

mytrack.com

for more info (or there are many other services that offer it, but most do not offer dynamic level 2 for BB stocks...mytrack does)

** you see every trade and how the MM's respond with the bid/ask.

** you can judge momentum better

** you can always spot MM games if they occura and see what MM's are in a stock and which MM's are playing games.

** you can also find out about news as it happens more easily and get daily and historical charting as well as historiocal news.

The more people who get Level 2, the less the MM's will be able to trick people into selling.... or spending too much for a stock on a false run-up.

CLASSIC MM TRICK THAT WAS EASY TO SPOT WITH LEVEL 2:
The MM's really suckered some people a couple weeks ago on MRPS.

Really felt bad for the people that fell for it and sold MRPS at $1.59-1.68

The MM's actually lowered the bid after lots of BUYING. Yes!

They waited until the buying stopped. There had been consistent buying all morning. So when they got all the stock at $2.31 they thought they would get for awhile, they tried a little game.

I watched them take the bid/ask from $2.25/2.31 and lower it down. (Usually they lower the bid first of course and not the ask).

SO it goes to $2.18 to $2.31 and somebody bites with a small sell

SO it goes to $2.12 to $2.31 and someone else bites, and another

Then they get bolder and reduced the Ask down,

$2.12 by $2.25 ..... a little more panic with another sell, especially when a few without Level 2 saw the ask go down

$2.09 by $2.25

$2.03 x $2.18

$2.00 x $2.12

etc.

They were small sells mostly and even some buying at $2.12, but they kept taking it down all the way to $1.59 x $1.688.

It was a classic ploy that worked that was totally manufactured.

I have seen this OFTEN.

Why does it work?

Because when those without Level 2 cannot see every trade, they just assume that others are selling when they see the Bid and eventually the ASK, dropping.

Why is this so important?

Because if you see what the MM's are doing, then you can take advantage (i.e. some of us bought a ton of MRPS at $1.68)
