I too am curious as to how CTXS intends to coexist with Java - or better yet somehow integrate both into some super new protocol - combining Java and ICA.

And yes - programs specifically coded for Java can run via Citrix - whereby the Citrix server would act as the Java client - and then in turn the Citrix server would pass the Java application over ICA to the remote client. But the argument that Java proponents raise is that why use Citrix at all in such situations when all that the remote client needs is a browser.

There are arguments to dispell those proponents - i.e. administration functions that are better in Citrix - i.e. Remote Shadowing/centralized application distribution/etc.

I'm still curious about to see how ICA and Java will develop together - as Citrix seems to be promoting.
