MAX TNT is Asand's hightest grade remote access switch. Cacscade's
competing products are AX800/1600. Asand do not have Frame/ATM bakebone switch yet.

Cascade switch provides a large range of I/O speed like 64K (DS0), 1.544M (T1/E1), 64K-8M (UIO), 34M E3, 45M DS3/HSSI/T3, 155M OC3,
622M OC12 etc. IP Navigator is a high level protocol working on top of
Cascade switches. Thus, it potentially provides all the mentioned packet switching rate.

Compared with router, IP switching saves a lot of time in the intermedite hops by avoiding to go up to the higher levels to do the decision as what routers do. Besides, switch has much larger capacity than routers. These are basically the potential of IP switching.
