Badpalms, I've been away for a couple days so wasn't able to answer your questions in the blink of an eye. But at least I see you're making lots of new friends around here!

1. OILS has licensed a F-T technology that has been in commercial operation at commercial rates for over 45 years on natural gas as a feedstock. This process does not produce very much methane or CO2 as the catalyst and operating conditions are designed to minimize C1-C4 production.

2. Their F-T technology is based on commercial technology that has been in operation for more than 40 years at significant throughputs. OILS DEMO plant is meant to demonstrate the route to Syngas and not the F-T technology per se. Potential clients are welcome to visit a commercial site for the F-T technology.

3. Shell, and others, including OILS F-T licensor, are not impressed or agree with the claims made for slurry reactors.

Regards,
