56k can't be better than 33k without an ISP connected digitally to the PBX or whatever it is. Most ISPs will have a mixture of access hubs, I suppose, and these need updating to the standard of the modem that will use it. As I understand it, the first 56kplus/flex/whatever using the ROK chips will need a hardware replacement to update the ROM. Any bugs in the current ROM? USR had a bug they repaired by re-commpiling software before it was released, for a while the bug will be in the firmware. So anyway I hope investors get worked up into a frenzy for both these modes, and I may salvage something from my long positions in COMS, BOCI, and USRX. For BOCI I was hoping that the March earnings would come through but that hasn't occured. Greg
