Excuse me sir, but the reason any U.S. public company is in existence is to enrich their shareholders. If the investment is down, it is the only problem that counts. With all due respect, the statement that you just made is absolutely ludricous, and if this is the way management - or the employees - feel, it is mandatory that the company be gutted out and filled with a management/employee team who have a significantly greater sense of fiduciary responsibility.
