PERTH - South African gold miner Durban Roodepoort Deep Ltd (DRD) has made its second attempt to enter the Australian gold sector, picking up a 13 per cent stake in gold miner Hargraves Resources Ltd (ASX:HAR) for $A3.89 million ($US2.55 million).

The company also paid a similar amount for a 14.9 per cent stake in Hargraves takeover target Diversified Mineral Resources Ltd (ASX:DMR).
