Stopped by the WIZ on 5th ave. and two Panasonic model DVD's were on display and in stock, apparently flying off the shelfs. DVD-A100 at $500+ with AC3 output and DVD-A300 with built in AC3 decoder. Using a demo disk that had 5 film clips, including free willy, twister. Very impressive and attracted a very knowledgeable crowd..was dying to find out whose encoder chips were inside..does anyone know.
