I'm a shareholder of etrade but haven't actually opened an account yet with etrade. A friend of mine wanted to know whats going on with the E*Trade IPOs it offers. Apparently, twice now he has gotten a preliminary approval of Indication of Interest and only to find out later it was rejected Has anyone else run into this problem? What does it mean? Is it a matter of timing? Do you have to upgrade your account to a higher level to not get rejected? Thanks
