And the posheads accused CANADIANS of shorting!! Well, well ... now we get down to real-life stories (sorties?) of the evil Zulu Empire!! So Pat found a way to short ESVS shares without heading north ... he just borrowed them from Duckman and Labarge ... I'll bet he sold them immediately, in the $4 range, before they drizzled away ... at worst, if he has to pay them back, he has made a killing ... If Labarge and Duckman read this stuff on SI, I would like to know whether they were reading it back there in March 98 when PH first came into their lives for the worse .... here we were raising a little "negativity" to try to warn the PartyTimes of this world ... one wonders whether they too ignored the "bashers" ... it is not enough that one perceive best intentions, it seems ... only good people make good on best intentions, and there were no good people in sight and in control ... wouldn't it be fun to convene a slightly drunken crowd at Googies to include the folks all the way from Meatchem through Glassberg and Chmiel? Unfortunately, while I don't think they were all bent on mayhem, I do think that many of them made out like bandits through options and the like, and would therefore not blab as one would hope ... but as Party likes to paraphrase from music "what a sorry tale they'd tell ..."
