Big Bear Exploration Ltd - Globe says hearing conclusion delayed on Big Bear takeover Big Bear Exploration Ltd BDX Shares issued 315,753,134 1999-04-29 close $0.22 Friday Apr 30 1999 The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, April 30, edition that the Alberta Securities Commission's review of Big Bear Exploration's takeover of Blue Range Resources won't be completed today, the date it announced for concluding its investigation. The Globe's News Bulletins column reports that the ASC review includes allegations by Big Bear that Blue Range had overstated its proven and probable reserves by 22 million barrels, or 37.2 per cent, through "accounting irregularities." Yesterday, the ASC said the review "is proving to be more extensive and complex than was anticipated." No new deadline for completing the review was given, reports The Globe.
