Did you read LKO's post? It is so funny.

Glad you liked it and got it. But I was sure
you will get it.

Not sure if anyone else got the satire/parody or
even read through it. I was hoping for rave reviews
and a shot at the next All About SUNW Grammy Awards...
..or is that Pullitzer...
...but oh well....gotta read many more messages with the
revealing truths that PCs are cheaper than Sun machines
and have more applications and are getting better all the
time...Gosh! I didn't know that at all! I thought they were
more expensive, had less applications and were not improving
at all !!! I am saved !!! Sun's future is doomed...after
all, all that company does is make Workstations with expensive
graphics cards....just like SGI which was better anyway. And
HP makes better printers...and Sun does not.

But wait a minute...didn't Byte magazine cover tell me that Unix is
dead as soon as NT arrives in 1991 ? And didn't I read that
NT will doom Sun in Wall Street Journal in 1993 and sold
half my Sun stock....boy...the smartest decisions I made....
How could I have forgotten all that. I should learn to be
less forgetful of such obvious revealing truths. I am glad
that there are people who keep reminding me and saving me
from my follies...

Also, now that Nvidia graphics card is here..Sun better fire their
graphics engineers, give up competing and pack up and leave and
start making Wintel machines.... What is the point in competing
and improving products and leapfrogging the competition and the
whole competetive creative cycle ? Such a waste of time...
Look at SGI and HWP, they did the smart thing of becoming Microsoft
low margin OEM shops making Wintel machines running Windows...
I mean they had unique features that attracted customers to their
platforms but why be unique and innovate when you can join the
brotherhood, stop investing in R&D, and save your investors
some money and add it to the earnings per share or stock
buyback programs ...or buying puts and calls on your own stocks
like the PC Companies...

But I digress...so I gotta go...
