You seem to be the guy with all the answers, so here is a copy of my email i sent to BM. I am just hoping to solve this before lunch is over.

Subject: proxy problem / questions

Hello,
I tried your product from my home machine and it appears great (on top of my cable modem). I then went to install at work and have had to contend with the proxy issues. I have converted from an automatic to manual proxy and have successfully overcome the initial hurdle of net connecting with your site.

Unfortunately, I no have the next and probably gating problem to solve. My PC using Netscape 4.51 on WinNT 4.0 pak 3, is able to connect with your site, and reply back to my desktop. However, somewhere along the way, it is forgetting to ask me for my proxy user name and password.

Please suggest a solution. Here is what happens.

*I open a browser window
*I am prompted by my proxy server and I log onto my proxy with password successfully reached and external site.
*I then click on the browsemaster icon in the task tray (near clock). It brings up the already active browser window, and prompts me for my SI username and password. I do however see a 'tool bar' in the return Frame, that says Browsemaster.com, Browsemaster, SI, Configuration, Help, About.
*Your site (http://127.0.0.1:3456/SI/home.pl) then responds saying PROXY AUTHORIZATION FAILED.

Did I do something wrong?

thanks,
schlep
