A few points, Cindy:
I just believe, as you do, that two wrongs don't make a right, and that the wailing and gnashing of teeth, and bashing and belittling of "people" isn't consistent of someone that fits into my notions of heroism and looking out for the public interest.
Love the "wailing and gnashing of teeth" stuff. And you say you don't come from a background of religious fanaticism? Oh yes, and why do you put the word "people" in quotes? Do you feel that those we criticize, um, aren't, really?
These folks will argue that they aren't driven by superficial and shallow things like money, and they care about us investors so-so-so very deeply that they are literally wasting their lives away with their posting obsessions and scam busting obsessions on our behalf.

Their research could be presented in just a few minutes a day, but they choose to get into these unnecessary bitch slapping, argumentative, ninnie ninnie bashing sessions with people. Truly dispicable, and such a waste of time and energy.
