><>...Hi X, I'm not sure I understand your point...><>
completely. And I don't want to put words in your mouth.
You are quite right in saying that, many kids back in the days of old certainly did leave school at an early age to help with the finances of their family. Some still do!
Are you saying the fact that heavy responsibilities put upon the child at a young age, was the reason for a lot less violence in schools 30, 40 and 50 yrs.ago, in that they has less time to think about violence? Or just because there were less kids in school, therefor less chance of someone getting bored and acting in a violent manner? OR Are you saying that it is because the kids of today just have too much time on their hands, therefor shoot someone? OR Are you saying that because kids are bored and frustrated they have nothing better to do, but to be violent, therefor shoot someone?
Well thank God X that the vast majority of our kids, even though bored and frustrated, do not take to shooting down the kid sitting next to him in his very boring science or geography class. And even as to the kids today which in fact do also quit at an early age, (but not to help the family) even they, do not readily take up arms to destroy life.
If I have put words in your mouth please excuse me by being more specific if you don't mind.
I am not exactly sure what your point is. Could you please elaborate?
