PLS READ THIS....

It is stated....
On Friday, MediaOne confirmed that AOL and
Microsoft have signed confidentiality pacts with
the Englewood, Colo-based cable operator under
which the companies can discuss a potential
alliance.

But howcome MSFT IS BATTLING AOL in the anti-trust....

As part of its defense against antitrust charges,
Microsoft lawyers will grill three AOL executives,
including Chairman Steve Case, about the
AOL-Netscape merger and alliance with Sun
Microsystems. In testimony earlier in the trial,
Netscape CEO James Barksdale said Case had
referred to Microsoft as the "enemy" and the
"Axis," while calling AOL, Netscape and Sun
executives "FDR," "Churchill" and "Stalin."

okay.....the question is....does anyone really think that aol and msft will partner and outbid att?....I DON'T THINK SO, JMHO!
